Got a great opportunity to photograph G.E.M.’s Vancouver concert for BnK Talents two weeks ago. I’m totally amazed by the young lady – who’d have thought a performer in such tender age could do so much? She really made it an experience for me, so much that shooting continuously for 2.5 hours with severe back pain was totally justified.

On November 30, 2010, I was very blessed with an opportunity to shoot a live pop concert, more so, of Hong Kong’s famous Raymond Lam. Since my assignment came from a colleague-turned-friend, Raphael Wong, of Studio One, naturally I paid more attention to and shot more of the dances.
Below showcases Studio One’s talents, Joyce Kewyee Tsang, Fiona Ip, Sharon Loi, Rita Chiu, Wesley Wong, and Raphael Wong, dancing with/for Raymond Lam.
Also shown a little behind-the-scene, and the opening sequence by local Chinese instrumental band, Pentatonics.

Since 1990, Celebration of Lights (originally known as Symphony of Fire) has been held in Vancouver every summer. It’s an international pyro-musical competition, in which participating countries show off their latest techniques and skills, in order to be crowned king. This year the competitors were USA, Spain, Mexico, and China. And guess what, Spain is the winner of 2010!
Since we were celebrating us, we (sadly) missed the Spaniards’ marvelous work. However, below are selected proofs of us participating the festival. Featuring, of course, China’s spectacular performance.
