San Francisco – Mar 2011

While I was there for the wedding, selective touring of the city of San Francisco was a must. My last visit was in 1992 – way too young to appreciate the beauty of it. This time, I couldn’t help but literally walking around with my head held up high – to marvel the history and magnificence of the architecture, and of course to take lots of photos too.

Below are shots taken during the whirlwind weekend going south of the border. Some of the hotel I stayed in, mostly of the city: China Town, downtown, and Fisherman’s Wharf.

Hong Kong – Nan Lian Garden

Nan Lian Garden is a green space in Diamond Hill (an old residential district in Kowloon, Hong Kong). This park is surrounded by northern mountains, and has a view of Kowloon. Other than being a relaxation spot for local residents, it’s also a showcase of traditional Chinese culture and architecture, particularly from the Tang Dynasty.
